J Dawson Ranch has joined with
Santa Rosa Equines in their Equine Breeders Futurity Program.

$8000 added each futurity
All foals resulting from 2008 and subsequent breeding seasons will be eligible. Futurities listed below will be open to all 3 year olds from stallions standing at Santa Rosa Equine.
Open, Non Pro and Amateur divisions, estimated $8,000 added pro-rated
Ranch Cutting Futurity, estimated $8,000 added
Ranch Horse Competition, estimated $8,000 added
Rules and Guidelines
- Open, Non Pro and Amateur divisions will be governed by NCHA guidelines and rules.
- Ranch Cutting Futurity horses or riders can not have won any NCHA money to be able to show in this division.
- Ranch Horse Competition is an open competition.
Other Rules and Guidelines
- There are no ownership rules.
- There will be a two judge system and video made of each run.
- There will be one go around and top 10 will advance to the finals.
- The Futurity Committee will approve all entries.
- The Entry fee for the Futurities will be $750
- Payment Schedule will be posted at a later date.
- Entry fees added to division entered less $250. to cover expenses.
Santa Rosa Equine Breeder's Program
- Winning Breeder's will receive a buckle and incentive pay for each division.
- 2 Year Old Prospect Sale in 2011 to market Futurity prospects
- Other Breeder's Sales pending beginning in 2009
